Angela is a qualified career practitioner and professional member of the Career Practitioners Association of New Zealand.
She works part time at Mt Roskill Grammar School and AUT University career centres, and also sees private clients.
Angela believes it is important to recognize that career decision making is not something that can be ‘sorted’ immediately. Self reflection, research, exploration and work experience are all crucial to good career decision making.
A strength of Angela’s career counselling is that she also works as a freelance writer in career and education fields. This work provides insight into the many pathways and career opportunities of people in real jobs working in the real world.
“In the 21st century, we need to become innovative and flexible in our approach to careers because there is no longer a single pathway from first job to retirement.”
